Out of many, one. There are a lot of titles in WWE. Like, a ridiculous amount of them if you’re being realistic. With so many titles, it means that you have to find a way to get them all onto television in one way or another. That includes pay per views, which are full of title matches of all kinds, many of which take different forms. One such match was set up on this week’s Monday Night Raw.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Ricochet won a fatal five way elimination match to become the new #1 contender for the United States Title, with his shot at Samoa Joe coming this Sunday at Stomping Grounds. Ricochet defeated Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Cesaro and the Miz to earn the shot, winning the match with a 630 to Miz. This will be Ricochet’s first shot at the title.

Samoa Joe is ready for anyone. Check out his comments before the match:

Opinion: This is the match that makes the most sense as Ricochet has been built up over the last few weeks thanks to a few wins. It’s kind of amazing how simple of an idea that is yet it still works quite well. Hopefully Ricochet can get somewhere else in the future, though that doesn’t mean he needs to win the title on Sunday. Just giving him some wins is a good sign and hopefully he continues to roll along.

Do you think Ricochet wins the title on Sunday? What is next for him? Let us know in the comments below.
