And that’s why he’s the star. Last night at “Elimination Chamber 2017”, John Cena lost his sixteenth WWE World Title inside the show’s namesake with Bray Wyatt becoming the new Smackdown World Champion. As you might have expected, some of Cena’s fans didn’t take this too well. However, Cena was right there to take care of one of them.

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, a five year old fan was crying over Cena losing the title. Cena saw the girl crying and went over to her for a little chat. The girl’s mom posted the following on social media:

“Tonight, I witnessed pure heartbreak in my daughter’s eyes when she watched John Cena lose at The Elimination Chamber. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. She was so disappointed, and all she could manage to say was ‘No.’”

The two happened to run into Cena as they were leaving the arena. The mother explained what had happened and Cena said the following to the daughter:

‘It’s ok. Sometimes we don’t win. But that just shows me that I gotta keep fighting. I will get a rematch. You remember that, ok? Never give up. Never lose hope. Keep fighting.’

Cena posed with the girl for a picture.

As much as people want to hate Cena for all of his successes and the way he’s been pushed over the years, I can’t bring myself to dislike him when he does stuff like this. That girl got the thrill of her life and is probably going to be a Cena (and WWE) fan forever. That means the world to someone and makes Cena look like the coolest guy in the world.

What do you see Cena doing at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”? Will he break Ric Flair’s record? Let us know in the comments below.
