That’s quite the angry response. Wrestling is a weird place as you have what goes on in front of the camera, but also a variety of things that take place behind the scenes. Some people do not get along because of various things that have happened both in front of and behind the camera, and those things can turn into a bigger deal. That is the case now, albeit regarding something a lot more serious.

After the news of Ashley Massaro’s untimely death broke yesterday, her life and career were discussed for the first time in several years. At one point Massaro dated Matt Hardy, who is now married to Reby Hardy. Massaro and Reby have had issues in the past but Reby did not reference her death directly. Later in the day, Reby tweeted a picture of a smiling face, which fans interpreted as her being happy at Massaro’s death. Reby later clarified that she was talking about something else, saying that fans were trying to make her care about “something I don’t give a f*** about”. Reby never mentioned Massaro by name.

This is a little better. Check out one of Massaro’s better moments:

Opinion: While the specifics of what is going on isn’t clear, it isn’t hard to connect the dots on this one. At the end of the day, Reby is known for speaking her mind but this is a case where she would have been better off not saying anything. I can accept that the initial tweet had nothing to do with Massaro, but the rest of what was said did not come off well and this kind of backlash had to be expected.

What do you think of Reby’s comments? What was Massaro’s best moment? Let us know in the comments below.
