There’s your answer. With AEW announcing their long awaited television deal earlier this year, a variety of questions about the company were brought up again. Some of these included various issues the company had discussed before without giving specific answers. That’s fine so far removed from the company running shows, but now it’s time to get something more concrete, which is the case with one issue now.

In a new interview with Bleacher Report, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan confirmed that AEW will not have an off season and will be running full time year round. Khan did however say that the company will have a lighter schedule and some people might be swapped in and out to lighten things up a bit. AEW had mentioned the idea of an off season in earlier discussions but never gave a clear answer.

So yeah, this will have to be done all year. Check out some AEW stars training:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised at this as an off season isn’t something that most wrestling companies do. AEW is still brand new at this whole thing and having their wrestlers go away isn’t going to be something that helps draw them an audience. That’s what matters most at the start and having the wrestlers go away, even for a few weeks, would cause some issues in that area.
