They don’t sound happy. One of the biggest criticisms of the current WWE product is a combination of the wrong wrestlers being pushed and wrestlers not appearing whatsoever. Fans aren’t the only ones who notice this as wrestlers can often be found venting their frustrations about their lack of an opportunity. That’s the case again now, though in this instance it’s a pair of names at the same time.

Rusev and Lana were recently interviewed by Express Mail in the United Kingdom and vented some frustrations about how neither of them have received many championship opportunities. Lana pointed out that Rusev has had one title shot in six years while she has had three. Rusev also said that 99.9% of the roster feels overlooked and everyone wants to be a champion, though there are not enough titles going around. The interview seems to be at least mostly in storyline terms.

The two of them certainly work well together. Check out some of their better work:

Opinion: Rusev and Lana are two of the most underused stars in the entire promotion, with Rusev having shown his charisma both in WWE and on the out of ring reality shows. Lana on the other hand is rather talented at a variety of things and is better utilized outside of the ring. Neither wrestles on their own very frequently anymore and I don’t see why. With the ratings as bad as they are, maybe something fresh could be worth checking out.
