Do spoiler alerts mean nothing anymore? We’re just over a week away from AEW’s debut event Double Or Nothing and that means a lot of speculation is going to start popping up. Who is going to show up as a surprise? What is going to happen? Who might jump over from another promotion? Well now it seems that we might know that in advance, thanks to an interview about mixed martial arts.

Jake Hager was recently a guest on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show and was asked about debuting with AEW at Double Or Nothing. Hager responded that he did not “want to step in Jon Moxley’s shadow” because “that’s going to be a great debut for him.” He did however make it clear that he was not sure if that was the case and that it was more speculation than fact. Moxley is able to go to AEW if he wants to as his WWE contract expired rather than receiving a release.

There’s a lot more to this. Check out the full interview right here:

Opinion: You knew this was going to be one of the biggest rumors running around as Moxley is one of the hottest names in wrestling at the moment. His video of escaping WWE was rather interesting and it was clear that he would be doing something in the near future. Moxley showing up at Double Or Nothing would be quite the coup for AEW, though it isn’t clear if Moxley is interested in working for the company.

Do you think Moxley will show up at Double Or Nothing? Will he ever be in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
