The card needs some more. We are coming up on WrestleMania but there is a major show to get through first. That would be Elimination Chamber, which is taking place just a week from Sunday. The card is always kind of tricky to pull off as so many people are going to be involved in the multiple Elimination Chamber matches so something has to be done to fill out the show. Now we know what part of the card will include.

While the show will be centered around the Elimination Chambers themselves, one of the interesting things is seeing who won’t be in the matches. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they aren’t important enough, but perhaps that they need to be there to do something else. While the men’s Elimination Chamber match has yet to be announced, we now know four men who will not be included.

This week on SmackDown, Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman signed a contract to defend the title against Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro in a three on one handicap match at Elimination Chamber. This comes after Strowman defeated Nakamura to win the title four weeks ago. Strowman said he did not care what was in the contract and that he could defeat all three of them before signing, prompting Zayn to change the contract to a handicap match.

It was a hard fought win. Check out how Strowman won the title in the first place:

Opinion: This is something that makes a lot of sense and that’s a good thing. There is no real need to do the same match all over again when Strowman has already proven that he can defeat Nakamura one on one. This ups the stakes a little bit and makes it more difficult for Strowman to remain champion. It’s progressing the story, and that’s the best thing that they could do in this situation.
