Welcome back. Injuries are a horrible thing to see in the world of wrestling for a bunch of reasons that should be pretty obvious. One of the worst is that someone could to miss a good bit of ring time depending on how severe their injury is. There are some injuries where you don’t know how long it is going to take, but now we know when an injured SmackDown star could be back.

There are very few wrestlers in recent memory with the kind of bad luck that Chelsea Green has experienced. Green injured her wrist during her NXT TV debut and then did it again during her SmackDown TV review. It was clear that she was going to miss some time due to surgery but it was not known how long she would be out. Now things have changed a bit and in a good way.

According to Fightful Select, Green is now cleared to return to the ring and could be back on television at any time. Green has been out of action since the November 13 edition of SmackDown, when she was injured in a fatal four way Survivor Series qualifying match. It is not clear when Green will be returning to SmackDown or what she will be doing once she does get back.

Green showed potential while she was out there. Check out what she can do in the ring:

Fatal 4-Way Survivor Series Qualifying Match: SmackDown, Nov. 13, 2020

Kayden Carter vs. Chelsea Green: WWE NXT, Feb. 19, 2020

Charlotte Flair vs. Chelsea Green: Raw, Dec. 23, 2019

Opinion: This is good to see as Green is someone who could be quite the nice addition to any roster. She has a solid charisma to her and it would be great to have her back. The only silver lining to her injuries is that a broken bone is quite different than a torn muscle or ligament. The bones will heal and she will be good as new, so maybe she can finally get going properly.
