He’s done everything else. There are very few wrestlers in history as successful as Kurt Angle. You might have heard about his success in the Olympics, followed by a nearly unmatched career in WWE and another very successful run in Impact Wrestling. Angle closed out his in ring career in WWE again before retiring earlier this year. So what is left for him to do?
According to PWInsider.com, Angle is now working full time with WWE as a producer. Angle started the position a few weeks ago and has been shadowing various regular producers to get a feel for the job. He was working as a producer on this week’s Monday Night Raw in Madison Square Garden, though it is not known which matches or segments he was in charge of producing.
Angle certainly has a history. Check out a rather nice tribute to his career:
Opinion: This is one of those things that makes a lot of sense and may pay off. Angle is someone who has a ton of experience and knowledge about the business, having wrestled in a lot of places around the world. That kind of knowledge can be a very valuable asset to the wrestlers, many of whom probably grew up watching Angle perform. Hopefully this works out for Angle, who always seemed like a lifer in wrestling.
How well will Angle do at this job? Who else would make a good agent? Let us know in the comments below.
