The silver ones. There are a lot of titles in WWE and that means that there are going to be a lot of champions running around on all of the shows. At the same time, it means that those titles are going to change hands from time to time. Depending on your taste, these title matches might be better when you don’t know they’re coming, which was the case this week.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins won the Raw Tag Team Titles by defeating the OC. The match was made earlier in the night, after Strowman challenged AJ Styles for the United States Title. Strowman won the match when the OC interfered, drawing out Rollins for the save. This is Rollins’ fifth reign with the titles and Strowman’s second.
It was a big match. Check out how the match was set up:
Opinion: This was one of those things that came out of nowhere and it seems to be setting up a Universal Title match between the two of them. Strowman has made it clear that he wants the Universal Title and Rollins seems game to face him. It’s a booking trope that has been used for years now and it should work fine. I can’t imagine Rollins and Strowman hold the titles for very long and there is nothing wrong with that.
