He’s doing it. There are certain wrestlers who are going to get your attention no matter what they are doing. These wrestlers have a star power who can make things more interesting and can turn almost nothing into something every time. They can also make quite the impact when they are given something important to do and that is on display this week.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Tall Order: WWE Reportedly “Really High” On NXT Star
This week’s Monday Night Raw is scheduled to take place in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso, CM Punk is set to announce where he will sign going forward. According to WrestleTix, WWE has sold 8,283 tickets for the event, with 1,511 of those coming since Punk was announced for the show earlier in the week. The venue is set up for a maximum attendance of 9,199.

Opinion: Punk has already been doing well since his return and now there are some numbers backing up what he has done. While you cannot guarantee that all, or even most of those tickets are due to Punk, it is hard to fathom that so many tickets would suddenly be sold with no Punk announcement. I’m not sure how long something like this is going to last, but so far things could not be going much better.
