It’s a big wrestling world out there. A lot of things happened on Saturday night in Las Vegas at Double Or Nothing. The show was a nearly universal success with Jon Moxley’s unannounced debut taking place as the end of the show surprise. This was Moxley’s first wrestling appearance since leaving WWE earlier this year and it turns out there is a lot in store for him.
According to New Japan Pro Wrestling, Moxley will be debuting for the company on June 5 at the Best Of The Super Juniors finals event. There is no word on if he will be wrestling as he is only described as appearing. Over the last few weeks, videos have been airing in New Japan saying that time was up for IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson. On Monday, Moxley posted a video on Twitter saying that he was behind the Time’s Up videos.
These things have looked great. Check out Moxley’s video announcement:
Opinion: Egads how angry must Vince McMahon be at Moxley over all this? Moxley got to leave on top and then goes to AEW for their debut show and onto New Japan where his international profile can get bigger and bigger. You don’t see someone get one over on McMahon like this too often but it certainly looks like Moxley pulled it off. Now, to see whether or not it pays off.
