VIDEO: One Of The Biggest Stars In Wrestling History Got Involved At Double Or Nothing

There’s your guest star. With AEW officially entering the wrestling world with Double Or Nothing, it’s time to start taking more notice of them. While they might not be the biggest company in the world or even an established one yet, they’re certainly a company that has gotten a lot of attention. Now they have the harder task of keeping it, which is where some big names being brought in could help.

Bret Hart made a surprise appearance at Double Or Nothing in a segment where he unveiled the AEW World Title belt. Hart gave a brief speech talking about how important the title was and how the fans were going to be able to see the first title match in a few months before being interrupted by Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Jungle Boy, Hangman Page and Jimmy Havoc dealt with Friedman as Hart held up the title.

Opinion: Hart was a great appearance for the company as he was a genuine surprise and someone the fans are going to respond to. He didn’t take shots at WWE and he didn’t make it seem like this was anything more than a one off appearance. That’s a nice thing to do and it was a good moment that didn’t take away from anything else. What more can you ask for out of something like this?
