AEW Superstar Dustin Rhodes was interviewed following his match with his brother Cody at the recent Double or Nothing event. He was asked about retiring from pro wrestling, and had the following response:

“I was, and he snuck in behind me,” Dustin said. “I was like, ‘Geez, let me get my boots off before you do anything. My God, I want to leave this boot in the ring and say goodbye, proper.’ I was tired, and he came in and I didn’t know what to expect, or what he was going to do.”

“He killed the Attitude Era, but I’m still standing here today,” Dustin said.

Editor’s Thoughts:

I hope that Dustin has a few matches left in him. I have a sense that AEW could be the relaunch of his career and could finally allow him to the opportunity to be th star in professional wrestling that he deserves to be.
