That’s a valid excuse? There are a lot of criticisms to be made about WWE and one of the bigger problems is that the company does not present a lot of the things that they advertise. This might be a segment or a match but it is rare to see a reason given for the change. It was the case again this week, and now we have a reason why, along with an official response.
WWE had announced that Lacey Evans would be making her return this week on Monday Night Raw but Evans did not appear on the show, with no explanation or mention of Evans given. According to PWInsider.com, WWE decided to send Evans to the Coca Cola 600 NASCAR race on Sunday night as its Grand Marshall and she was unable to return in time for Monday Night Raw. Evans posted a tweet showing herself recovering from posing at the race, including icing down her biceps.
What happens when you stay flexin?? GRAND MARSHAL duties got me laid up. @nascaronfox @wwe @cocacola @nascar it's all your fault!!!!! ?? pic.twitter.com/ZslTFaowcg

Opinion: This feels like one of those things that probably sounded good to WWE but made them seem a bit more annoying and unorganized than anything else. It is yet another announcement that they made and then did not deliver on, which could have been solved without much trouble. That is something they need to stop doing, even if it means Evans gets to be in a prominent role. Just don’t advertise her, or at least make an announcement that plans have been changed.
What do you expect from Evans’ return? What do you want her to do? Let us know in the comments below.
