And there he is again. One of the most entertaining things that you can see in wrestling is a wrestler making a return to the ring after an injury. Sometimes wrestlers get injured and there’s nothing that can be done to keep them in the ring. More often than not they’re able to return though and that can often be the best thing to see. It was the case on Saturday night.
According to Ringsidenews.com, Mustafa Ali made his return to the ring on Saturday at a SmackDown Live house show in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ali faced Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship in a losing effort in his return. This was Ali’s first match since the February 5 episode of SmackDown Live due to suffering a concussion which kept him on the sidelines.
So how good was he before? Check out Ali’s most recent match before the injury:
Opinion: This is quite the relief as you never know how someone is going to react to a concussion. Ali was ready to be one of the top stars in the company and the fact that he was brought back as a challenger to the World Title. Hopefully he can pick right back up where he left off as he wasn’t gone all that long. I’m just glad that he’s back as he was getting somewhere in a hurry.
What do you think of Ali? How far can he go on SmackDown Live? Let us know in the comments below.
