Get your calendars ready. As we’re already a sixth of the way into the new year, it’s time to start making plans for down the road. In this case, that means setting up some of the WWE’s major events and pay per view dates by filling out the calendar. At the moment, there aren’t too many shows officially announced, though some of that seems to have changed.

According to a new report from Rajah.com, a pair of WWE pay per views and dates have been announced. Backlash will take place on June 16 in San Diego, California while Extreme Rules will be held on July 14 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to this, according to WrestleVotes, NXT will be holding a Takeover on June 8 in San Jose, which is noteworthy as it isn’t attached to a regular WWE pay per view as has been the recent tradition.

Maybe they can add to this list. Check out some lethal weapons from Extreme Rules of days past:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised at any of these and that’s not a bad thing. The interesting one is the San Jose Takeover, as I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just run the show the night before in the same arena. Maybe there’s a scheduling conflict of some kind, which would make a lot more sense. The shows should be fun, provided they don’t run five hours each.

Which of these shows interest you most? What shows do you want added to the calendar? Let us know in the comments below.
