It comes with being the champ. If there is one obvious thing about Goldberg, it is that almost no one can match his level of intensity. You look at him and you can instantly see just how different he is than anyone else he faces in the ring. That intensity has been one of the hallmarks of his career and it is helping him to expand just beyond what he can do in the wrestling world.
Last week, Goldberg surprised a lot of people by defeating the Fiend at Super ShowDown to become Universal Champion for the second time. The win put Goldberg back near the top of the wrestling world and he will be defending his title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. This is quite the high profile moment and now, Goldberg will have another one.
Goldberg will appear on this Sunday’s edition of NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS, according to WWE’s Twitter account. This will mark Goldberg’s fourth appearance on the show, where he plays Department of Justice agent Lance Hamilton. Goldberg has dabbled in acting for years, with a string of direct to DVD films as well as a recurring role as a football coach on the ABC series the Goldbergs.

It’s a pretty big deal. Check out a preview of the show:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE knows how to promote and shows that Goldberg does have some star power outside of wrestling. It’s easy to see why something like this would work for him: he’s big, intimidating and has a presence about him that makes him feel scary. I’m not sure if he’ll ever be a movie star but an occasional guest starring role on a popular series is a rather nice spot for him.
