Someone is going to Wrestlemania! With less than a month to go before “Royal Rumble 2018” it’s time to start getting ready for the big pay per view. There’s quite the history for the show and that means it’s a good idea to look back at some of the matches over the years. That includes seeing some of the matches and WWE is helping you out on that front.
WWE has released the full 2008 Royal Rumble match on YouTube. This match was for the title shot at “Wrestlemania XXIV” with the winner getting a shot at either Raw World Champion Randy Orton or Smackdown World Champion Edge. The match took place in Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Here’s the video:
FULL MATCH - Royal Rumble Match: Royal Rumble 2008 (WWE Network Exclusive)
Opinion: The #30 entrant is one of the best surprises the show has ever seen as you can hear the fans cheer for the big surprise and then switch over to booing by principle. Other than that they had a good selection of surprises and veterans, including Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka for one last hurrah in the World’s Most Famous Arena. It’s a great match and the Rumble is always worth checking out.
