Well he’s big enough. Over the years in wrestling, there are a lot of names that could have been top starts but didn’t for one reason or another. Near the top of that list, at least for WWE performers, is Bobby Lashley. A former amateur wrestling champion with crazy strength and a great look, Lashley was expected to be a huge star but it didn’t quite happen. Since leaving WWE, Lashley has become a bigger star in Impact Wrestling as well as putting together a decent MMA career. Things might be changing in the near future though.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of 411mania.com, there is a strong chance that Lashley will be returning to WWE when his Impact Wrestling contract expires later this year. Lashley last wrestled in WWE in 2007 and went on to become a four time World Champion in Impact Wrestling.

Lashley certainly had some big moments in WWE, including this one:

Team Cena vs. Team Big Show: Survivor Series 2006

Opinion: This is pretty easily Lashley’s last chance at going back to WWE as he’ll turn 42 years old this year. He’s miles better than he was back in his initial WWE run though and there’s a good reason to believe he could make an impactful, albeit short, run in WWE. Let him get in there and show that he has the talent that everyone knows he has, which is really all he can ask for.

Do you want Lashley back in WWE? What can he do once he gets there? Let us know in the comments below.
