Full Match: John Cena vs. Kurt Angle – “Survivor Series 2005”

Oh it’s true. Kurt Angle is one of the most versatile performers in wrestling history. Whether it was comedy or athletic, Angle could do almost any kind of style asked of him. In addition to being entertaining though, Angle is pretty easily the best technical wrestler of all time and that gave us possibly his best persona: the Wrestling Machine. There’s a great example of that kind of performance.

WWE has released the full version of Angle challenging John Cena for the WWE World Title at “Survivor Series 2005”. This was a part of the Cena vs. Eric Bischoff feud with Bischoff trying to get the title off of Cena, who he didn’t think was the right representative for the brand. Angle was on fire at this point and it’s a heck of a match.

Opinion: I could watch Angle just go Olympic and take everyone apart almost every day. He’s one of the most talented wrestlers of all time and seeing him in there with Cena was always a treat. They had outstanding chemistry together and there’s a reason that Cena inducted Angle into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. Check this match out and have a good time watching two masters at work.
