Watch: “War Games” – Team WCW vs. Team nWo Hollywood vs. Team nWo Wolfpac From “Fall Brawl” 1998

WWE will be making history when they bring back the “War Games” match at their next “NXT Takeover” event in Houston on November 18.

However, not everyone may know what “War Games” is, or the history behind the event.

In order to help with this, WWE has posted a video of a full “War Games” match from WCW’s “Fall Brawl” in 1998. You can see the video below:

FULL MATCH - Team WCW vs. nWo Hollywood vs. nWo Wolfpac - WarGames Match: WCW Fall Brawl 1998

In this particular match, three teams were locked inside the two rings that were surrounded by steel cages. Team WCW consisted of Diamond Dallas Page, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and The Warrior. Team nWo Hollywood consisted of “Hollywood” Hogan, Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Stevie Ray. Team nWo Wolfpac consisted of Kevin Nash, Sting and Lex Luger.

Editor’s Note:

I have to admit that I became very excited when I saw that WWE had posted this match from their archives. I was a HUGE WCW fan growing up, and never had the opportunity to see this contest when it aired. Having watched it now, it’s definitely not the best display of wrestling ability ever, but it is comical at times.
