I remember you. One of the scariest things a wrestler has to go through in wrestling is an injury. You never know when one is coming but at the same time, you never know how bad one is going to be. Someone could be out of action anywhere from no time at all to permanently and the waiting can feel like a lifetime. On the other hand though, there is a great feeling when someone returns from injury, which was the case this week on SmackDown.

There are a lot of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster and that can create a problem if someone has to leave. With so many other people out there to take a spot at a moment’s notice, it can be difficult to work your way back into a spot. This can often be the case with an injury, but hopefully someone who returned from a long time off can manage to get their spot back.

Kalisto made his return to WWE television this week on SmackDown, interfering in a match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Gran Metalik. This marked Kalisto’s first appearance since a December 30, 2019 live event when he suffered a separated shoulder in a tag match against the Revival. There is no word on when Kalisto will be making his return to in-ring competition.

Kalisto is a heck of a talent. Check out what he can do when healthy:

Opinion: I’ve liked Kalisto a good bit and he is one of the more underrated wrestlers in WWE today. It helps when he has a pair of United States Titles and a Cruiserweight Title on his resume, so hopefully he can get back into something important going forward. Kalisto can be someone added to the roster in a hurry, and being put back into the Lucha House Party is hardly the worst thing in the world.

What are you expecting from Kalisto? Can he be a champion again? Let us know in the comments below.
