Who’s ready for signing time baby? Adam Cole was one of the top free agents on the wrestling market. He’s the only three time Ring of Honor World Champion and is only 28 years old. If that doesn’t sound like a prime candidate for signing with WWE, I don’t know who does. I think you know where this is going.
According to PWInsider by way of 411mania.com, Cole has signed with WWE and will be reporting to NXT in the near future. There is no word on when he’ll be making his debut, though “Takeover: Brooklyn” is a possibility. Cole’s appearance comes just after the in-ring debuts of both Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly.
Here’s an idea of what you’re getting with Cole.
Adam Cole recaps becoming the first 3 time ROH World Champion
Opinion: If they’re still planning on that former ROH stable, they might have just found their leader. Cole might not have the best look in the world but he’s a better talker than the other two names mentioned. Putting him on “NXT” would be a nice boost, though again I’m starting to wonder where they’re going to put all these new signings.
Are you glad Cole signed with WWE? Where else should he have gone? Let us know in the comments below.
