Going home in style. This week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” serves as the go home episode for Sunday’s “Summerslam 2017”. That means it’s time to really hammer in a lot of the build for the pay per view matches, including a few of the bigger things on the card. There’s still one major match yet to be confirmed and it’s getting taken care of this week. Here are the main points for this week in the official “Monday Night Raw” preview.

As listed on WWE.com, the big story for this week’s show will be Sasha Banks facing Nia Jax to crown a new #1 contender to the Raw Women’s Title. Bayley was scheduled to challenge Alexa Bliss on Sunday but an injury forced the match to be canceled and a new #1 contender was needed.

Here are the five stories that WWE is focusing on and a quick look at each one:

Every Woman For Herself (Banks vs. Jax)

Bayley addresses her injury: Raw, Aug. 7, 2017

Joe is Gonna Get You (Fatal Four Way for the Universal Title)

Lesnar & Heyman to leave WWE if The Beast loses Universal Title at SummerSlam: Raw, July 31, 2017

Mized Opportunity (Miz vs. Jason Jordan)

"Miz TV" with special guest Jason Jordan: Raw, July 31, 2017

Face Your Fear (Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt)

Finn Bálor tries to beat Bray Wyatt at his own game: Raw, Aug. 7, 2017

sBrothers on the Mend (Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose)

Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro: Raw, Aug. 7, 2017

Opinion: I know it might sound strange but this year, “Monday Night Raw’s” offerings look a lot better than the “Smackdown Live” counterpart. I’m a lot more intrigued by what I’m seeing here than I am on Tuesday, though it’s not like either looks horrible. This week could offer some very interesting changes for Sunday’s show and I wouldn’t be surprised to see another match or two added to the (already somewhat bloated) card.

What are you looking forward to on this week’s show? Which story looks best for Sunday? Let us know in the comments below.
