To the other side. The Wednesday Night Wars have become a rather interesting battle between the two major American wrestling companies. AEW and WWE’s NXT have been going head to head for most of a year now and the two sides are showing no signs of slowing down. WWE has lost some names to AEW, but now a certain cult level name has gone in the opposite direction.
One of the more interesting things about AEW has been their efforts to bring in some new wrestlers who might not be known to the masses. This can offer a lot of fresh faces to the audience and some of them might catch on. It might not always be the biggest role in the world, but even a small role on television is better than nothing. A now former AEW star found that out this week.
Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Suge D, better known as Pineapple Pete in AEW, appeared on this week’s Monday Night Raw as an extra during Raw Underground. In a post about the appearance on Twitter, Suge D suggested that it was a one off appearance by saying he was “passing through”. There is no word on if WWE is interested in having him appear again.

See if you can see him. Check out this week’s Raw Underground:
Opinion: Good for Suge D to get a spot like this as it is the kind of thing that might get him a lot of work outside of the major promotions. Being someone who is known from one promotion and has managed to appear on both in just over a month is quite the accomplishment. Hopefully this is something that leads somewhere for him, because he probably won’t get such an opportunity again.
What do you think of Suge D? Who else would you like to see go from AEW to WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
