That’s a bit too real. Wrestling is a physical sport and that can cause some issues. These wrestlers are in the ring with each other and hitting each other rather hard, which can turn into a bit of an issue if things do not go as planned. There are various things that can go bad during a match and it can lead to bigger problems, which was the case during this week’s AEW Dynamite.
Women’s wrestling has come a long way in the last several years and the rise seems to be continuing. There are various big time wrestling promotions in the United States today and some of them are on regular national television. A few of them have some very prominent women’s divisions and two of them clashed this week. It did not exactly go well or according to plan.
According to Fightful Select, the NWA Women’s World Title match between Ivelisse and Thunder Rosa broke down near the end with the two actually attacking each other. The problem began when Rosa felt Ivelisse was not selling her offense, which would make the NWA look bad. Rosa is not under AEW contract and it is not clear what this situation will mean for either her or Ivelisse.
This went bad in a hurry. Check out how the match went down:
Opinion: This is a nasty situation and not something that you ever want to see. I’m not sure what it is going to mean for Rosa’s future in AEW, as this isn’t the kind of thing that is going to be tolerated very long. AEW is the kind of company that Rosa could go far in, but there are only so many things that can be done in this kind of a situation. Hopefully it is smoothed over, but it might be too late.
What do you think of Rosa? Will this be it for her in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
