There has to be someone at the top. Earlier this week, we talked about Roman Reigns surpassing John Cena as the #1 merchandise seller in WWE. Those are just the top two names in the company though, and there are so many other superstars to put in order on such a list. While putting the whole roster in order would be a bit of a stretch, there’s nothing wrong with a top five.
According to Ringsidenews.com, the current top five merchandise sellers in WWE are, in descending order, Reigns, Cena, AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. At the moment, Reigns is the current Universal Champion, Styles is the current WWE Champion, Balor recently brought back the Demon character and Rollins is the Intercontinental Champion. There is no word on how these rankings were formed, as in either by units, total money or something else.
I bet you could find some of their stuff here.
Opinion: The top two names don’t really surprise me, but I’m a bit surprised by having Balor that high. He’s barely been featured above the midcard in recent weeks while the other names are either recent champions or Cena. It’s rather telling to see just how big of a deal he still is in the eyes of the fans without much support. Give him some backing and see how far he can go.
Are you surprised by anyone on this list? Who did you expect to make it but didn’t? Let us know in the comments below.
