The last call? As undefined as some of them may be, every wrestler has a gimmick. Some of these are easier to figure out than others, as a handful of them come off as little more than a nickname with little behind it. Others have some stories behind them with something that makes them easier to define. However, one of the more specific ones might be going away.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Elias gave what he announced as his final musical performance. Elias cited his other pressures, including the 24/7 Title and participating in the King of the Ring tournament. His performance was interrupted by R-Truth in an attempt to win the 24/7 Title but Elias got away in time. Elias has been on the main roster for about two years now and has played guitar and sang songs the entire time. There is no word on if this will actually be Elias’ final performance or if WWE will change their minds next week.
I hope you got had your cameras ready. Check out what could be Elias’ final performance:
Opinion: I’m not sure if this is going to be the final performance for Elias, as he doesn’t have much going for him other than the songs. There’s nothing wrong with having a gimmick, but when it is almost all you have, I don’t know how much further he can go otherwise. Elias is passable in the ring and not much more, though he could find something else to make up for it.
Will Elias stop playing? What else could he do? Let us know in the comments below.
