The growing continues. In the grand scheme of things, AEW has not been around all that long. When you think about it, AEW has not even been around a tenth of the time that Ring of Honor or Impact Wrestling has survived, but they have already made some incredible strides. This includes a major television deal and picking up some big name WWE talent. Now they have announced two more major deals in one day.
There are so many more things that go into a wrestling company than what you see on television. Since Dynamite is only one night a week, AEW has to come up with some ways to keep people interested in the show from week to week. There are several different methods they can use to do this and if they can do several at once, it can be even more effective. That is what they announced today.
On Wednesday, AEW announced two new releases coming soon. First, their official podcast, titled AEW Unrestricted, will debut on Thursday with Jon Moxley appearing as the first guest. New episodes will be released every following Thursday. AEW also announced they will be releasing their first line of action figures at some point in 2020. The line includes Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Cody, Brandi Rhodes and more. There was no specific release date announced other than some time this year.

The figures look pretty cool. Check out the wrestlers seeing them for the first time:
Opinion: These are some nice moments and it’s awesome to see AEW getting to do some things like this. WWE only started podcasting last year and it’s not like having something like this is overly difficult, so it’s smart of AEW to get on this in a hurry. The figures look very good and if they can bring in some money for the company or at least get them some attention, good for them.
Which of these are cooler? Will you be listening to the podcast and/or buying the figures? Let us know in the comments below.
