Big men do seem to draw. One of the most commonly discussed WWE related topics are the ratings for “Monday Night Raw”. The numbers might not have been the strongest this year but with the Road to Wrestlemania starting up, WWE is likely hoping that they’re higher than they would be in the rest of the year. As luck would have it, that seems to be the case for this week’s show.
According to Showbuzz Daily
by way of Cagesideseats.com, “Monday Night Raw’s” viewership actually stayed above three million viewers all night, which is a bit of a rarity these days. As usual the third hour saw a drop but that’s to be expected. The big draws this week were a Brock Lesnar interview and Braun Strowman vs. Big Show. It should also be noted that this show was on President’s Day, which likely dragged things down a bit.
Opinion: The third hour drop is going to happen no matter what (people have to go to bed and they can read the results on various sites, including this one) so this is actually a pretty good sign. The show was entertaining enough and they were coming off a strong effort the previous week so this should be encouraging.
