Chris Jericho Hospitalized, Fozzy Concert Canceled

Get well soon. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to miss a show and some of them are a lot more serious than others. You never know what might be taking place to cause someone to be gone and sometimes it can be rather scary to hear what is wrong with them. That is the case again now, even if it is with a wrestler who is not in the ring at the moment.

Swansea Sin City has announced via Facebook that Friday’s Fozzy concert has been canceled due to lead singer Chris Jericho has been hospitalized with a treatable medical issue. Details were not revealed, other than that the issue was not Coronavirus related. There is no word on what this will mean for Jericho’s AEW work, though he was written off of television with an injury to allow him to go on the concert tour.

Opinion: Hopefully Jericho gets better in a hurry as anything that involves putting him in the hospital must mean that something is pretty serious. It is good to hear that it is not Coronavirus related but what matters most is that he gets healthy. Maybe this is something minor and not something to get worried about in the long term, but the details are what will matter the most.
