It’s a different place to go. Wrestling is unique in that you get to see what they are doing in front of the camera and in the ring, but those wrestlers are on the other side of a barricade. As close as the wrestlers may be, they are still rather far away. That isn’t something that can be changed very often, but now there is a new option in a rather unique way that you do not get to see very often.
Adam Scherr, formerly known as Braun Strowman during his time in WWE, has been announced as the first wrestler available as a hologram for personal greetings. Scherr will be part of the augmented reality service ImagineAR on Famedays.com and will be available for a variety of greetings, including birthdays and holidays. Scherr is the first wrestler to sign up for the service, which costs $4.99-$14.99 depending on the celebrity.
Scherr was one of the bigger stars in WWE. Check out his time in the company:
Opinion: Is this really that much of a stretch? You can already have celebrities make videos saying almost whatever you want for money so is a hologram really taking a big step beyond? Scherr is still someone with some name value and it would be cool for some fans to get something like this. It’s not a big deal, so why not let it be something that people can do?
What do you think of the idea? Who would you like to see do something like this? Let us know in the comments below.
