That’s one way to end things. Earlier this year, Seth Rollins shocked the wrestling world by defeating Brock Lesnar in short order to win the Universal Title at WrestleMania 35. The next month, Lesnar won the Money in the Bank briefcase, turning him right back into the top threat to the title. Since then, it has been a question of when, and now we know the answer.
Lesnar cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase after the main event of Extreme Rules to defeat Rollins and become Universal Champion for the third time. Rollins and Becky Lynch had just retained the Universal Title and Raw Women’s Title by defeating Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a mixed tag match. This is Lesnar’s first singles match since losing to Rollins at WrestleMania 35.

Lesnar wanted revenge for this. Check out the original title change:
Opinion: I mean, you had to know this was coming sooner or later and I’m glad it was sooner so we can move on already. Lesnar as champion is going to be a decisive issue, but is it any shock when Paul Heyman is taking over Monday Night Raw starting tomorrow night? This was a move that needed to happen as Rollins wasn’t doing well as champion, but that doesn’t mean it’s the most entertaining.
