The injury bug waits for no one. Wrestlers in all companies get injured and you never know when some of them could strike. The worst part about injuries is they can happen so fast to almost any part of a wrestler and that makes them almost impossible to prevent. They can happen in any kind of match too, which seems to be the case with two AEW stars at Fight For The Fallen.

Both Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Britt Baker sustained injuries at Fight For The Fallen on Saturday night. According to Sean Ross Sapp on Twitter, Friedman has suffered an elbow injury but it may not be as serious as it seems. The elbow is described as “banged up” with Friedman resting it before an upcoming match against Cody. Baker on the other hand suffered a concussion, which she mentioned on her own Twitter account. The injury seems to have happened early in the match and would likely be the reason why she tried to tag her opponent during her tag match. There is no word on how much time either will miss.

Friedman can do a little bit of everything. Check out one of his matches from CZW:

Baker isn’t bad either. Check out some of her best work:

The Best of Britt Baker!

Opinion: Thankfully neither of these seem to be too serious and that’s about as good as things can get in a situation like this. Friedman has a history of elbow issues so this one might be a bit worse for him than for someone else in his position. It seems that both of them will be fine with some rest and if that is as bad as it gets, everything should be fine in the end.

How far can Friedman go? Will Baker be the first AEW Women’s Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
