What A Boss. Vince McMahon Canceled A Production Meeting For 45 Minute Meeting With Miserable Superstar.

That’s a big deal. Whether you like him or not, there is no one in wrestling more powerful than Vince McMahon. An endorsement from him can make your career but if he doesn’t like you, your career can be over before it starts. One thing that is said of him is he gives his talent opportunities instead of guarantees and that he can talk anyone into anything. Earlier this year, he actually had quite a talk with a big time performer.

Braun Strowman was on the Notsam Wrestling podcast this week and talked about a meeting he had with McMahon shortly after this year’s Royal Rumble. Strowman was frustrated with his lack of opportunities, so McMahon cleared out the Monday Night Raw production meeting before the show was even written for the night. With less than two hours before the show started, McMahon talked to him for forty five minutes, with Strowman saying that it “opened his eyes to the big picture” and seemed to calm him down. Strowman won the Raw Tag Team Titles earlier this week on Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: I know McMahon is a one of a kind force in wrestling, but it says a lot that he is willing to sit down and talk to one of his talents like this. Strowman is a big star in WWE but there are bigger names. To have McMahon spend that much time with him shows you that McMahon is a bit more hands on and seems to have an ability to get through to his talents. He might be all over the place at times, but there is something about him that no one else has ever been able to accomplish in wrestling.
