He’s getting closer. Last year, Jason Jordan got the career break of a lifetime, being revealed as Kurt Angle’s storyline illegitimate son. Jordan was suddenly in the middle of a major singles push and wound up winning another Tag Team Title along with Seth Rollins. However, a neck injury cut off his momentum and he’s missed quite a bit of time as a result. Things might be about to turn around though.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Jordan is back on the road with WWE, although not wrestling just yet. Jordan has been making appearances with WWE, mainly with Goldust and others at the Special Olympics in Seattle. He was recently cleared to return to in-ring competition and is expected back this month. Jordan has been out of action since before WrestleMania with neck surgery and last wrestled on television on at the Royal Rumble on January 28.

The push certainly gave Jordan courage.

Jason Jordan challenges Roman Reigns: Raw, Dec. 4, 2017

Opinion: I’m cautiously optimistic about this at best. Jordan was starting to get some traction when he got hurt but his character doesn’t have the highest ceiling in the world. Being Angle’s son isn’t exactly suiting him all that well and it would be nice to have the spot (if it has to exist) go to someone who fits it better. Say an Olympic wrestler. With talking abilities. Who has nothing to do. And used to be Jordan’s partner.

Are you glad Jordan is back? Will this run be more successful than his first? Let us know in the comments below.
