You had to know this was coming. After Dean Ambrose cost AJ Styles a non-title match against James Ellsworth last week and then embarrassed Styles again this week, Styles was looking for some revenge. Tonight on “Talking Smack”, Styles stormed the set and demanded revenge on Ambrose. General Manager Daniel Bryan agreed and gave Styles a non-title match with Ambrose for next week on “Smackdown Live”. If Ambrose wins, he receives a future title shot.

Styles and Ambrose have been feuding for months now, starting with Styles taking the Smackdown World Title from Ambrose at “Backlash 2016”. Styles then retained the title at “No Mercy 2016” in a triple threat match also involving John Cena though Ambrose wasn’t pinned. Since then Ambrose has gotten under Styles’ skin, setting up this third match.

This is the next logical step for these two and there’s a good chance that Ellsworth will get involved and set up Ambrose’s title shot. Odds are that takes place at “Survivor Series 2016” instead of waiting for “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2016” all the way in December. This is where “Smackdown Live” truly shines: logical week to week storytelling.

Should Ambrose get the next title shot or should Styles beat him once and for all to get on to someone else? Would you like Ellsworth to be involved in this match as well? Let us know in the comments below.
