Call it a proxy battle? The Wednesday Night Wars have been going strong for about ten months now and has become one of the biggest stories in wrestling every single week. Comparing the two shows, both in quality and viewership, has become a rather popular thing to do every single week as the two companies are competing. That will be the case again this week….in a way.
Video games have come a long way in the last few years and a lot of that has been due to the rise in streaming. You can watch some rather highly skilled gamers playing a variety of titles online at the click of a button, often with some rather entertaining commentary included. This can allow for some interesting moments, especially with the right people involved.
UFC has announced a virtual card of celebrities playing UFC 4 this coming Friday. This will include AEW star Kenny Omega, who will be facing Lirik, a gamer who streams on Twitch. Later in the show, the Bella Twins will be facing off with each other in another virtual fight. The event is part of a promotional campaign for the game, which is being released on the same day. The card will be broadcast on ESPN2.
This card is elite – make sure you're tuned in Friday night! ?

The three of them might be better off in a ring. Check out what they can do elsewhere:
Opinion: This may not seem like the biggest deal but it is nice to see the wrestling world getting a chance to do something on a bigger stage like this one. UFC is a more mainstream sport than wrestling and seeing wrestlers given a chance like this is cool to see. I’m not sure I need to hear the Bellas arguing over a UFC game, but just getting them on television is a pretty impressive deal.
What do you think of the card? Will the Bella Twins ever wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
