It’s really not that bad. As everyone knows, WWE is a PG style company. While a lot of fans consider this to be one of the worst things to ever happen, the direction has opened the door to a much broader audience as the company is much more family friendly. One current “Smackdown Live” talent offered his thoughts on the limitations that come with being PG.

Baron Corbin appeared on “The Bob and Tom Show” and discussed what it means to be PG. Corbin seems to think that there aren’t a lot of problems with it but admits that a few things are going to slip out here and there based on the level of competition that comes from the profession in general.

“Yeah, ya know, I tailor that ‘PG.’ I mean with anything, emotions get high, we’re very competitive with what we do, everybody wants to be the best, so, sometimes those emotions will get the best of you and you’ll let a word fly and you’ll hear about it later. So, ya know, better to ask for forgiveness than permission, right?”

WWE's Baron Corbin Joins Us

Opinion: He’s not wrong. I’ve never found a major issue with being PG as I don’t need the more intense swearing, hardcore violence and overly sexualized content on my wrestling shows. It’s also much better for the future of the company as appealing to families instead of individual fans is always going to bring in more money.
