How Was the Audience for the 9/25 “Raw”?

And you can’t teach people to watch. With “Summerslam 2017” in the rear view mirror and “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2017” less than a month away, there was a question about how well “Monday Night Raw” was going to do. This week’s show featured fallout from “No Mercy 2017” and that almost always sees the audience go up. So how did this week’s episode do?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s show brought in a .99 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.923 million viewers. These are up 7% and up 3% from last week’s .92 and 2.833 million viewers. The show drew the following numbers by hour:

8pm: 1.04 rating, 3.121 million viewers
9pm: 1.04 rating, 3.081 million viewers
10pm: .88 rating, 2.568 million viewers

Opinion: That third hour is a big problem, but it also explains a few things. Last night’s show was capped off by Enzo Amore’s celebration for winning the Cruiserweight Title. If the numbers are going to go down no matter what, why waste a big story? It might be annoying for fans who watch the whole show every week but it makes sense for the masses.
