That could slow things down. WWE has its share of problems these days and that has been the case for a very long time now. There are going to be issues no matter what happens but the company has made some advances in how they take care of medical issues. One of the areas where they have made their greatest strides is head injuries, which seems to be the case again.
The Raw women’s division has come a long way in recent years with the Raw Women’s Title becoming one of the higher profile championships in the company. Following Becky Lynch’s dominance of the division for over a year, Asuka has stepped up to become the top star in the division. She has held the title since August but thanks to an errant kick, it might be a little while before you see her again.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Asuka may be out of action with a concussion. This comes after Asuka suffered a kick to the head from Shayna Baszler on last week’s Monday Night Raw and did not appear on this week’s show. Asuka lost a tooth thanks to the kick but has not been announced as having a concussion. However, the lack of mentioning a concussion is seen as a sign that someone has one in this kind of circumstance.
Asuka is a force of nature. Check out some of her better moments:
Opinion: Hopefully this isn’t something too bad because there is no way of telling what kind of time off a concussion can cause. That was a nasty kick to the face and it is horrible to see something like that happen. I’m not sure when Asuka is going to be back, but what matters is WWE making sure that she is clear. You don’t mess around with head injuries and WWE seems to understand that much better these days.
