Keep her around. Things have been changing all over WWE in the last year as several wrestlers have been coming and going from the company even faster than usual. That can make for one interesting change after another, with some of these changes being rather positive. That is the case again, as one of the more interesting prospects is going to be sticking around.

Every now and then in wrestling, you see someone with all of the potential in the world but for one reason or another, something just does not work out. It might not be their fault, but for some reason it just does not work. This can be one of the most frustrating things a fan can see and there is often little that can be done. That is the case with a WWE star, but the company is standing by their star.

According to Fightful Select, SmackDown star Chelsea Green has signed a new three year contract extension with WWE. This comes after Green’s contract was expected to expire later this summer. Green made her debut in November in a four way match on SmackDown, only to suffer a wrist injury during the match. This came after Green also broke her wrist in her NXT debut. It is not clear when Green will be back in the ring.

Green has worked while she can. Check out her time in the ring:

Fatal 4-Way Survivor Series Qualifying Match: SmackDown, Nov. 13, 2020

Charlotte Flair vs. Chelsea Green: Raw, Dec. 23, 2019

Kayden Carter vs. Chelsea Green: WWE NXT, Feb. 19, 2020

Opinion: This is good to hear, as Green has shown a lot of potential but for some reason nothing is working for her. It isn’t like she it tearing a ligament or muscles, so her injuries are not the kind of thing that will never be the same. I’m not sure what green is going to do when she finally gets her chance to debut, but it would be great to see her actually get the chance to wrestle.
