It took some time. Injuries are the kind of thing that can shake up a wrestler’s career in a horrible way. You never know how long someone is going to be out of action as soon as they get hurt but you can often tell that something is going wrong. What matters is getting the wrestler healed up, but that is something that can take time. Now an injured wrestler is going to be taking a big step towards getting better.

Last year saw a bunch of changes in the wrestling world, as dozens of WWE wrestlers were let go from the company due to budget cuts. That changed the landscape of the wrestling world as there were suddenly all kinds of free agents available for a variety of companies. As a result, a lot of those companies signed a lot of those wrestlers, with some great moments involving their debuts. One such debut went well, but then things went downhill in a hurry.

Impact Wrestling star Heath (former WWE star Heath Slater) has announced that he is undergoing surgery on March 1 to repair a variety of issues. This comes after Heath was injured at Bound For Glory in November and has not wrestled since. Heath has not wrestled for Impact Wrestling since the injury and there is no word on when he is going to be able to return to the ring.

What we got has worked so far. Check out what Heath has done in Impact Wrestling:

Opinion: How did it take this long to get what seemed to be a pretty necessary surgery? Hopefully Heath is able to get back in the ring sooner rather than later as he has done rather well in Impact Wrestling so far. It was a shame to see him get injured all the way back at Bound For Glory and only now getting the surgery but at least he is getting it now instead of waiting even longer.
