Hopefully it isn’t bad. Injuries are Kryptonite to a wrestler as anyone can be taken down by one out of nowhere. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt and the focus then shifts to just how long someone is going to be on the shelf. That is never good to see, and unfortunately it is taking place again with a fairly prominent wrestler on the WWE roster.
WWE has announced that Kofi Kingston has suffered an MCL sprain in his knee. The injury took place during the Bloodline’s attack on the New Day during last week’s edition of SmackDown. There is no word on how long Kingston will be out of action and his status for this week’s SmackDown is not clear. It is also not clear if Kingston’s injury is legitimate or part of a storyline.

It has been an up and down few weeks for Kingston. Check out what he has been up to as of late, including the attack:
Opinion: This is never good to see and the best thing to hear would be that Kingston is not going to be out of action that long. A sprain is a lot better than it could be otherwise so maybe he can be back in the ring sooner than later. Kingston is one of the more dependable wrestlers in WWE today and it would be bad to see him on the sidelines any longer than he needs to be.
What do you think of Kingston? Will he ever have another big singles run? Let us know in the comments below.
