Welcome home. The Coronavirus has changed the WWE landscape in all parts of the company as very little outside of TV is anywhere close to normal. This includes the lack of live events as WWE cannot have very many fans in the buildings. As a result, there is no need for several people who work behind the scenes and several were let go. Some of them have come back though and one more can be added to that list.

In addition to the dozens of wrestlers who were released from the company, several backstage workers, including producers, were let go as well. That causes quite a few problems as not only are the producers unemployed, but the wrestlers lose a different voice who might make the shows a little bit different. One of the agents has announced that he is back on the job.

Former WWE referee and now producer Scott Armstrong has announced that he is back on the job and working as a producer in NXT. Armstrong was one of the producers furloughed from the company in April and one of the handful who have been brought back, along with Pat Buck. There is no word on when or if the other agents will be returning to work for the company.

Armstrong has been part of some angles before. Check out what he has done:

Opinion: That’s good to see and a nice relief for Armstrong. I understand that WWE is not going to need as many people as they needed before but it was rough to see so many of them let go at once. These people aren’t going to be earning the kind of income that the wrestlers receive and losing their jobs is going to be a bigger hit. I now they can’t all come back at once, but one at a time is better than nothing.
