Two Major Returns Take Place at NXT TakeOver: 31

They’re back! One of the great things about watching professional wrestling is whenever returns occur. Usually, they cause a major pop from the crowd that is in attendance and fans that are watching at home.

Two of those returns took place tonight at NXT TakeOver: 31. After Io Shirai defeated Candice LeRae to retain the NXT Women’s Championship, NXT UK superstar Toni Storm appeared on the video board in the new Capitol Wrestling Center. She announced that she was coming to NXT and put the entire Women’s Division on notice.

However, after that, a more shocking return occurred as Ember Moon made her surprising return to NXT. She has been out since January, when she tore her Achilles Heel on an episode of RAW.

I popped massively for both of these moments. Toni Storm is an outstanding competitor and I have been a huge fan of Ember Moon for a long time. In my opinion, NXT currently has the best women’s division in all of wrestling and adding both Storm and Moon to an already stacked division makes it even more must-see!
