It’s publicity! Wrestling exists in its own world and it is fairly rare to see something else come into its orbit. It can be a pretty cool moment when you see something from wrestling referenced outside of the wrestling world, which seems to be the case again. This time though, we have a special interaction between a wrestler and a company that has been involved in wrestling before.
Earlier this week, AEW’s Rebel sent a tweet to AEW’s Ethan Page, saying that they needed to try the bourbon bacon cheeseburger from Wendy’s. The official Wendy’s Twitter account responded, thanking Rebel for what she said, while also asking her to tell the Doctor, as in Britt Baker, that they love her. Baker then responded with a photo of her holding up boxes from McDonald’s and saying that she was taken. Page and Rebel then said they were still on Wendy’s side. This is not the first time the Wendy’s Twitter account has been involved in wrestling, including requesting to join the Dark Order and tweeting as Broken Matt Hardy.
@OfficialEGO This! We gotta try this! Maybe after #AEWDoN celebration ?????

Heck yes, Rebel. Also, please tell the doctor we love her.

These people are rather intriguing. Check out what they do when they are not talking about Wendy’s:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is worth a chuckle, as it was the kind of thing where you can tell the person running Wendy’s Twitter account is clearly a huge fan. It helps that the wrestlers were clearly having a fun time with it as well, which is something you do not get to see very often. The Wendy’s account has been a great surprise before and that is the case again here.
