SpikeTV UK Airs Wrong Episode of "Impact Wrestling"

You might have heard (and seen) this one before. “Impact Wrestling” is in an interesting place at the moment as they have new owners who are trying to build the promotion back up. One of their primary ways of doing this has been restoring its international presence, which includes a new TV deal on SpikeTV UK. However, things aren’t quite going according to plan.

Last week, SpikeTV UK aired the wrong episode of “Impact Wrestling” as they put on a repeat instead of the new episode. The mistake is being investigated but to make up for things, the network will air back to back episodes this coming Friday night. There is no word on what caused the issue as of yet.

Opinion: The first thing that came to my head was “Of course they did.” I know this isn’t likely Impact Wrestling’s fault but it’s the kind of thing that always seems to be happening to them. Between this and the episode last year with the two hours of commercials, this seems to happen too often for the company. I don’t know what they can do about it, but they seem to have some kind of issue far too often, which isn’t going to help their reputation.
