That they did, as Banks and Bliss became the first women to ever be able to compete in the United Arab Emirates in professional wrestling. Up until now due to various beliefs within the culture there, women have not been able to perform on such a level. There were strict laws against women performing.
While the women were able to compete, it did come at a slight cost. As you’ll see in the video below and in the cover photo for this article, Banks and Bliss both wore fully-clothed attires as opposed to the more revealing attire they wear on a weekly basis on ‘Raw.’
The Raw Women’s Champion took to her Instagram to showcase her attire for the night:

The challenger had the following attire:

That said, they did their absolute best, as the crowd chanted “this is hope,” which would eventually bring Banks (and likely Bliss) to tears after the match.
This is certainly a huge leap in progression for the UAE and something that will certainly be an occasion to mark down in history.
From all of us at Wrestling Rumors, we would like to congratulate Banks and Bliss on their achievement and we hope that the shift in culture continues to change in the future.
Congratulations, girls.
